Jeff has spent 25 years offering spiritual direction, coaching and practical equipping. He has a great interest in authentic relationships, emotionally healthy living and spiritual formation. Jeff speaks frequently on the topics of marriage and family issues, men's issues, conflict resolution, emotional and relational intelligence, sexual integrity, and spiritual formation. He brings a very practical and passionate approach that encourages life-change and growth.

Jeff spent 12 years on the pastoral staff at Glen Ellyn Bible Church in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and then served on the pastoral staff at Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood, Tennessee as a Teaching Pastor and gave oversight to several ministry areas, including Marriage and Family and Pastoral Care. In the summer of 2010, Jeff opened WellSpring Coaching and Consulting where he provides counseling to marriages and individuals and works with several churches as a consultant to staff and relational issues.

Jeff and Lora, his wife of 24 years, co-authored a book and companion workbook entitled, Authentic Marriages: How to Connect with Other Couples Through a Marriage Accountability Group. FEBRUARY 17-19, Valentine Romance Weekend
Training in Marital Disciplines

• Giving Out of Abundance • Speaking Words That Edify
• Confession • Forgiveness • Vulnerable Prayer
• Rejoicing and Weeping • Speaking the Truth in Love
• Marital Staff Meetings • Celebrating Our Relationship

Speakers: Henry & Holly Bieber
Henry has 19 years of experience, specializing in family, marriage and crisis counseling. He currently serves at Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN as the Pastor of Membership and Recovery. He holds a master's degree in Biblical Counseling from Colorado Christian University. He and his wife Holly have two adult sons, Reid and Tripp.

Previously, while serving on staff at Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa, it became apparent that Henry was counseling many families. He began to realize that counseling was something he was called to do when a ministry assistant told him that “people enter your office with one demeanor, and they come out differently.” Seeking further equipping, he attended Institute of BIblical Counseling Seminar which changed his life and directed his path, ultimately resulting in a full-time counseling career. He opened a counseling center and started a productive Life Discovery ministry including groups like Grief Share, Celebrate Recovery, Divorce Care, Adoption and others.

After 11 years at Idlewild, a conversation at a baseball game with a former colleague was the game changer, and Henry and Holly were led to serve at Long Hollow to start a counseling center and join a growing Celebrate Recovery ministry. Henry has also initiated a marriage ministry called Intimate Allies which involves date nights, conferences, retreats and marriage intensives for marriages in crisis.

"My greatest joy is seeing people get their stuff out of the way so they can get healthy and live other-centered lives." Henry laughingly refers to his role as "Minister to Hard Stuff."

NOVEMBER 16-18, Romance Weekend
The Story of Us: My Story, Our Story, God's Story
Speakers: Bob & Heidi Elder
Bob and Heidi have been married for 23 years. The first 15 years of their marriage could be characterized as “making it work” considering Heidi's commitment to the home and Bob's preoccupation with a growing career in marketing. However, the couple was blessed with God's gift of truth in 2004 and have been pursuing “authentic relationship” in their union ever since. The Elders now spend time serving individuals and couples in marriage crisis while contending for their own hearts on a daily basis. Bob and Heidi attend Journey Church in Franklin and make their home in Thompson's Station, Tennessee. The Elders have two grown children, John and Emily.
